Engineering Brief

The ATA5577C is a flexible read/write LF RFID chip for 100–150 kHz (125 kHz or 134 kHz) applications, with 363-bit EEPROM organized in 11 blockwise-programmable blocks. It supports multiple modulation schemes (Manchester, Bi-phase, FSK, PSK, NRZ) and binary or fixed data rates (RF/2 to RF/128). Features include configurable downlink protocols (fixed bit length, long leading reference, leading zero reference, 1-of-4 coding), password protection, AOR mode, soft modulation switching, and on-chip tuning capacitor options (250 pF or 330 pF). It is compatible with T5557/ATA5567 and can replace e5551/T5551 in most common modes, making it suitable for animal ID (ISO 11784/11785), access control, and general LF RFID tagging applications.
