The HID iCLASS SE reader family is a multi-protocol 13.56 MHz access control platform supporting iCLASS, Seos mobile credentials, MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire EV1, and multiple ISO standards. These readers feature EAL5+ certified secure elements, SIO (Secure Identity Object) data model for layered security, and OSDP (Open Supervised Device Protocol) with Secure Channel Protocol for encrypted reader-to-controller communication. Available in five form factors (R10/R15/R40/RK40/R90) with read ranges from 6 cm to 36 cm depending on card technology and reader model, supporting both pigtail and terminal strip connections with intelligent power management reducing consumption up to 75%.
