Engineering Brief
The ICODE ILT (SL2S1402/1502/1602) is a passive HF RFID chip supporting ISO 18000-3 mode 3 and EPC Class-1 HF standards at 13.56 MHz. It offers up to 240-bit EPC memory, a 96-bit TID with 48-bit unique serial number, and extremely low power operation (minimum 40 μW input power) for long read ranges. Key features include advanced anti-collision (up to 800 tags/s), fast initialization for EPC writing, variable data rates (forward link 25-100 kbit/s, return link 53-848 kbit/s), Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) functionality, and memory protection via 32-bit access/kill passwords. Available as bumped wafer (75 μm or 120 μm) or XSON3 package, with integrated capacitor variants (0 pF, 23.5 pF, 97 pF) for flexible antenna matching in supply chain, laundry, healthcare, and document tracking applications.
