Engineering Brief
The JCOP 4 P71 is NXP's Java Card 3.0.5 Classic operating system running on the SmartMX3 P71D321 secure element, offering 100–200 kB configurable NVM with contact and/or contactless (ISO 14443-A) interfaces. It supports GlobalPlatform 2.3, EMV 4.3 / EMV Contactless 2.6, and advanced cryptography (AES, 3DES, RSA up to 4096 bits, ECC, SHA-2), with FIPS certification and DPA countermeasures. Designed for EMV payment, eGovernment ID/passport, and convergence applications, it offers flexible configurations with optional MIFARE Plus EV1 / DESFire EV2 emulation and Match-on-Card biometric support.
