RFID Memory Bits and Bytes Converter
Convert RFID chip memory between bits, bytes, words, pages, blocks, kbit and KiB. Distinguish decimal and binary units before comparing datasheets.

Worked example
144 bytes equals 1152 bits or 36 pages of four bytes. 1 kbit is 1000 bits; 1 Kibit is 1024 bits. Chip datasheets sometimes use kbit informally, so check their memory map.
Method and assumptions
Memory capacity is not the same as writable application space. Reserved data, UIDs, sector trailers, security settings and NDEF framing consume capacity. This tool converts the quantity you enter; it does not assume that all memory is available to an application. A word is 16 bits, a page is four bytes and a block is 16 bytes only for the units explicitly selected here.
