Engineering Brief
The RI-TRP-DR2B is a 32mm glass-encapsulated low-frequency (134.2 kHz) RFID transponder featuring Texas Instruments' patented Half-Duplex (HDX) technology. It provides 1360 bits of memory organized into 17 read/write pages and complies with ISO 11784/11785 animal identification standards. The hermetically sealed glass package ensures rugged, waterproof operation with up to 100,000 programming cycles, typical read range ≤100 cm, and insensitivity to nonmetallic materials.
