Engineering Brief
The Tag-it HF-I (TMS37112) is a passive HF RFID transponder IC fully compliant with ISO 15693 and ISO 18000-3 standards, operating at 13.56 MHz. It features 2048 bits (256 bytes) of user EEPROM organized in 64 lockable blocks, factory-programmed 64-bit UID, and anti-collision support for simultaneous tag reading. The IC supports all ISO 15693 communication modes (ASK/FSK, high/low data rate, 1-of-4/1-of-256 pulse position modulation) with configurable modulation depth. Delivered as bumped wafers or sawn dies on frame, it requires assembly with an external antenna and optional resonance capacitor to form a complete transponder for item-level tagging applications.
Typical Applications
- Asset tagging and tracking
- Distribution logistics and supply-chain management
- Anti-counterfeit prevention
- Electronic ticketing and airline boarding passes
- Building access badges
- Express parcel delivery and baggage handling
