The UCODE 9xm (SL3S1005) is NXP's latest UHF RAIN RFID chip optimized for demanding industrial applications requiring both exceptional RF performance and large user memory. It features -24 dBm read sensitivity, -22 dBm write sensitivity, and customer-configurable EPC/User memory partitioning (up to 752-bit user memory). Key innovations include Self-Adjust for automated tag optimization, Dynamic backscatter for regulatory compliance, Brand Identifier for product authentication, and Memory Safeguard (ECC with error detection). The chip supports all mandatory and key optional EPC Gen2v2.1 commands (BlockWrite, Blockpermalock, Untraceable with range reduction, Access), operates from -40°C to +85°C, and is delivered on 12" wafer with large pads enabling single-slit antenna design and robust assembly with 100k write endurance.
