The Higgs-EC is a next-generation UHF RFID IC featuring Alien Technology's proprietary Sentinel memory architecture that detects and corrects single-bit errors and flags dual-bit errors, making it immune to cosmic rays and chip damage. It delivers best-in-class read sensitivity of -22.5 dBm and write sensitivity of -19 dBm, enabling exceptional operating ranges up to 13 meters with appropriate antennas. With 200,000 write cycles (2× competitors), 50-year data retention, and full backward compatibility with Alien's QuickWrite, BlastWrite, and Dynamic Authentication technologies, it addresses high-volume applications requiring both superior performance and reliability.
